Craig Hudson, Board Chair. Craig recently retired as a Design Engineering Team Leader at Garmin. Craig serves as co-chair of the STEM Hub serving the North Willamette Valley and supports several statewide STEM/CTE committees. He has served for 8 years as an elected school board official, 6 years coaching FTC and many years supporting FLL/FTC/FRC tournaments.
Jon Spurlock, Vice Chair & Secretary. Jon is a management, strategy, and technology consultant with Slalom and a US Navy veteran. He also formerly founded and led the nonprofit San Quentin News.
Loren Wertz, Treasurer. Loren is a Manager of Learning & Development at First Tech Federal Credit Union. He also serves on FIRST Tech’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Council. He has served on ORTOP’s Development committee and recently served as a FIRST LEGO League judge.
Jonathan Anderson is a cybersecurity consultant and previously the Vice President and General Manager of Microsoft Client Partnership at Intel.
Garrett Clark is a Technical Lead at HP. He has served as a technical mentor of a FIRST Robotics team for several years. He recently served as a FIRST LEGO League judge.
Aaryn Curl is a Technical Program Manager at Intel. She previously served as an Automation Software Engineer. She has led FIRST tournaments, served as a FIRST LEGO League referee and statewide head referee for FIRST Tech Challenge.
Gayathri Iyer is Program Dean of Computing and Engineering at Portland Community College. She holds a Masters Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Angeles Godinez-Valencia is Education Director for Centro Cultural, a nonprofit that offers services for low income Latino families. She develops and facilitates a STEM curriculum that sparks K-12 grade students interest and confidence. As a Latina alumna of the FIRST Lego League and FIRST Tech Challenge, she recognizes the importance of developing programs for underserved communities that engage parents, students and professionals.
Mandy Mock has been the vice president and general manager of Desktop, Workstation and Channel Group at Intel Corporation. Before assuming her current role, she spent 9 years in various leadership roles in IT, including as the general manager of product engineering solutions, director of financial information systems, and director of flex services, a business unit that provides burst capacity resources for software development Intel’s product teams
Heidi Sipe is Superintendent of the Umatilla School District. Heidi has served as a coach and mentor for teams from FIRST LEGO League through FIRST Robotics Competition for a number of years. In addition to serving on the ORTOP Board she is a member of the Executive Advisory Board for FIRST at the national level.
Cesar Martinez Spessot is the General Manager of Network and Edge Services and a Senior AI Architect at Intel Corporation. He has also served a judge at FIRST events on several occasions
