Typically, seasons start at various times for each program. Sponsorship-related items, however, stay consistent. Our seasons start in August.
Mid-August:
- FIRST Lego League game is unveiled.
- Teams and schools start to receive kit of parts.
September:
- FIRST Tech Challenge game is unveiled.
- Teams and schools start to receive kit of parts
October:
- FIRST Tech Challenge teams must be registered.
- Teams are informed of grants they may have won.
- Teams learn what events they will compete at.
November:
- Sponsors must pledge by the 1st.
- FIRST Tech Challenge teams begin their league competitions.
December:
- FIRST Lego League Challenge teams participate in qualifying tournaments.
January:
- FIRST Robotics Competition game is unveiled.
- FIRST Tech Challenge State Championship.
- FIRST Lego League State Championship.
February:
- FIRST Robotics Competitions are run.
March:
- FIRST Robotics Competitions are run.
April:
- FIRST Robotics Competition District Championships.
- FIRST Championships in Houston, TX.
May:
- Sponsorship funds are due for the following season.
June:
- FIRST Lego League Showcase
- Annual Meeting and budget
