Start a FIRST Tech Challenge Team
Starting a FIRST Tech Challenge team is relatively easy. Best advice is to learn about the program, find interested students, a few adults to be mentors and proceed to nationally register the team. Teams exist many different ways. Teams form as an after-school activity, as part of in-classroom curriculum, club activity such as 4-H or Scouts, a neighborhood or organization team.

After registering with the national FIRST Organization, you can register for the season in Oregon. For key dates in Oregon see the ORTOP Calendar page including February through May.
