Thank you for considering our invitation. We greatly appreciate your commitment to our organization’s mission. If you are unfamiliar with ORTOP or FIRST programs, here is some more information:
Oregon Robotics Tournament and Outreach Program (ORTOP), also known as FIRST Oregon, delivers FIRST robotics programs to Oregon youth across the state. We offer training and support for educators and mentors involved in FIRST Robotics programs in Oregon. We work with volunteers and organizations to host exciting events across Oregon.
FIRST LEGO League is a robotics program for elementary and middle school students that introduces them to real-world engineering challenges by building LEGO-based robots to complete tasks on a thematic playing surface. FIRST Tech Challenge is designed for students in grades 7-12, challenging them to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in head-to-head challenges. FIRST Robotics Competition caters to high school students who work with professional mentors to design, build, and program robots to compete in an intense and exciting game each year. These programs offer students the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning experiences, develop skills, and prepare for future careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Please send a link to this page to your friends and family regardless of whether they are currently involved in our programs and encourage them to join at this fun event. All are welcome. You will also find a formal invitation here
