In the course of the season, we highly encourage you to upload videos and pictures of your robot runs, although it is not required.  We will be using these media files to compile highlight reels of the season so we can still experience some of the community aspects of pre-pandemic events, even though we haven’t been able to meet in person.

 

Each League has been assigned a link to upload their media files into ORTOP’s Dropbox.  These links are:

Please be very careful to only upload media files via your League’s links– otherwise, we may not be able to find your video to include it in the appropriate compilation.

 

When uploading a video, please follow these guidelines:

 

• Your videos can be submitted in the following formats:
  • mp4
  • avi
  • wmv
• There is a file size limit of 5 MB, but please take steps to minimize the size in order to reduce the time it takes to upload and download; try not to exceed 1080p. To keep the quality reasonable, please do not compress below 720p.
• • Your file must follow the following naming convention: FTC#xxxxx_LM#_mmdd21.mp4
    • FTC#xxxxx is the letters ‘FTC’ followed by a hashtag and your team number

• LM# is the letters ‘LM’ followed by a hashtag and which League Meet the video is associated with (O, 1, 2, etc.)

• • • During Qualifying Tournaments and Championships, this will become “QT” and “CT” instead of “LM”

mmdd21 is the two-digit month (February is 02) followed by the two-digit day, followed by ‘21’ that your video was filmed
