Each year FIRST chooses a new theme and designs a robot challenge around a theme. The overall theme for the four FIRST programs for the 2024-25 season is FIRST® DEEPSM. The specific theme for the 2026 Season of FIRST Robotics Competition is REBUILT. The season kick-off will be in early January 2026.
