FIRST Tech Challenge Software

There is a variety of software available to support FIRST Tech Challenge teams. Here are just a few:

• Driver Station and Robot Controller apps on GitHub
  • If you want to download one of these files to you phone, you will need to go to Settings then Connected Devices, then select to USB and then choose "Transfer Files".
  • After downloading you can use the File utility to install the APK file.
  • It will probably be easier to use the REV app describe below, however.
• Software by REV Robotics
  • REV Hardware App is used to install Driver Station and Robot Controller apps
    • Instructions for installing the Robot Controller and Drive Station apps
    • Using the REV Hardware app with cell phones require that they have Developer Options turned on. Search for "Updating FTC Apps on Android Phones" on the this page.
      • On some phones the "About Phone" submenu is in a submenu called "System" so you will need to select "System" to find "About Phone".
      • After enabling Developer Options navigate to that menu and enable USB Debugging
