Each year FIRST chooses a new theme and designs a robot challenge and innovation project around the theme. Each year FIRST creates a theme for the season. The overall theme for the four FIRST programs for the 2020-2021 season is CARGO CONNECT
On August 17, 2021, FIRST conducted the kick off for the season.
