Each year FIRST creates a theme for the season. The overall theme for the four FIRST programs for the 2020-2021 season is GAME CHANGERS, a sports theme. The specific theme for FIRST LEGO League Explore is PLAYMAKERS. FIRST held the on August 4, 2020 and a video is available.
