Each year FIRST creates a theme for the season. The overall theme for the four FIRST programs for the 2023-24 season is FIRST® FIRST DEEPSM. The specific theme for FIRST Tech Challenge is INTO THE DEEPSM].

The 2024-25 season will be kicked off on September 7, 2024.
