Thank you for considering a contribution to ORTOP! Your support insure more students have access to life-changing programs. ORTOPs team support funding program focuses on providing financial and technical support for under served and underrepresented communities with the most need. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation, tax-deductible donations from individuals, companies, and partners provide direct funding for many purposes. All gifts under $5,000 are designated to our General Fund which offers the greatest flexibility to respond to community needs without restrictions. All gifts are recorded, acknowledged, and reported each year in accordance with IRS and Oregon state regulations.
How are contributions designated and restricted for use? Contributions that are $5,000 or more may be designated to specific counties or to identified FIRST programs. Contributions less than $5,000 are designated to our general fund to offer the most flexibility to respond to community needs without restriction. Annual Reports for the previous Fiscal Year are typically available in December. You will also find ORTOP listed on GuideStar.

TRIBUTE GIFTS – Honor Someone Special
Donations over $25 that honor someone special are listed on our Annual Tribute board. Contributions $1,000 and higher receive additional benefits in the Annual Recognition and Supporter Program. DONATIONS BY ADVISED FUND
If you have a donor advised fund, you can make an online donation through the charitable fund you’re already using. Just select Oregon Robotics Tournament & Outreach Program. If you do not currently have a donor advised fund, you can set one up through most major brokerage firms or through the Oregon Community Foundation. There are a variety of advantages of donating using a donor advised fund including using appreciated securities as the source of your donation.
